Eleven fire and rescue personnel from Loudoun County Fire and Rescue have graduated from the department's Officer Development School.
The two-week program at the Oliver Robert Dubé Fire & Rescue Training Academy in Leesburg was designed by senior staff and seasoned company officers to prepare graduates for promotion.
The curriculum focused on leadership and management, with lectures and practical exercises delivered by internal instructors and presenters from outside agencies.
Graduates refined their management skills and learned effective methods to mentor, cultivate and grow personnel.
