A lot of fan theories have counseled that Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn would possibly die in The Suicide Squad, and James Gunn has teased the target audience about the opportunity of the same. “A lot of humans suppose I am going to kill Harley. You know, who knows?” he said. In previous interviews, Gunn has mentioned that Warner Bros desired him to carry Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn for the extension of the universe around her character. She was once finally considered as Harley Quinn in 2020’s Birds of Prey.

But it is now not simply Margot’s Harley that followers want to fear about. Gunn noted in the featurette that many different characters would possibly now not make it to the quit of the film. “I assume human beings are going to be amazed by using how many human beings don’t make it until the end. Just couldn’t assist me,” he said.

After the disastrous overall performance of 2016’s Suicide Squad, directed by using David Ayer, Warner Bros. roped in James Gunn to reboot the franchise. At the time, Gunn used to be briefly fired via Marvel from the 1/3 Guardians of the Galaxy movie after a few of his historical objectionable tweets had resurfaced online. Gunn was once later rehired via Marvel.
