CHANDLER, AZ - Youth Arts Council is a forum for young people dedicated to art appreciation, leadership, and community service. As part of this event, youth will participate in a three-hour, face-to-face session for six months, leading to a hands-on leadership experience at a performing arts center.
This event also features experts and problem-solving projects, aiming to increase a student's awareness of career opportunities in the arts, financial responsibility for youth, foster leadership in youth, and develop public relations and marketing for arts.
The sponsor of this program is the Chandler Cultural Foundation, an organization that supports the visual and performing arts at Chandler Center for The Arts and other charitable institutions.
All participants in this program do not need to pay any fees. Sessions of the program begin at 5 p.m. on the specified Wednesday and last until 8 p.m. Selected participants are expected to attend all sessions during their term.
