PHOENIX, AZ - Goodyear encountered a significant growth in almost all aspects, such as business growth to the population of people moving to one of the best cities in America. According to U.S. census data, Goodyear is officially listed as one of the top ten fastest-growing cities in the country. There are currently 95,294 residents in Goodyear, and this shows a rapid development compared to 2010 where the city had 65,275 residents. Based on this recorded population growth, Goodyear is ranked number 2 as the fastest-growing city in Arizona.

According to the Mayor of Georgia Lord, the increase in population is caused by several factors. It is because Goodyear is an excellent place to work, play, and a great place to live. In addition to the location, another relevant factor is the performance of the staff and the board that regularly strive to provide a good quality of life for residents.

The achievement was predictable. It is based on how good planning is and the development of infrastructure, new facilities, and services that are also growing. Therefore, this development will lead Goodyear to find more opportunities for growth, such as more restaurants, shopping places, retail and entertainment venues, job vacancies, and growing housing options. The convenience of permanent residents will be the main priority of the local government in line with the development of the city. Based on the city's 2021 Community Survey data. There are 94% of residents say that this city is the right choice to live in; moreover, 9 out of 10 people say that they feel safe while living here.

"This data is fundamental," said City Manager Julie Karins. "This helps cities receive their fair share of state dollars for city programs and services, including public safety, parks, and recreation, environmental improvements, roads, and education. Plus, there is so much information about our community that we now have at our fingertips to help guide important decisions to serve our residents better."

The data provided is fundamental for the development of a region. Just as City Manager Julie Karins said, because of this data, we can do a maximum performance to help cities in various aspects such as public safety, city service programs, parks and recreation, environmental improvement, education, and road construction. In addition, we can make important decisions related to regional development and provide the best service to residents.

This data is released and recorded when Goodyear is celebrating its 75th anniversary!
