The Free Mobile Dental Event sponsors have began to see applicants and perform screening this week. With more screening dates in the future, it is not too late to apply for FREE dental! Participants have been very pleased with the screening process and have expressed that this service was greatly needed in Clay County.
The Veterans Council Clay County Inc along with their partners Florida Baptist Convention and the First Baptist Church of Middleburg have been coordinating the event since April 2022 to bring the Mobile Dental Unit to Clay County. The Florida Baptist Convention, through the Mobile Dental Unit, has been providing this service to Floridians for over 30 years and has plans to modernize in the future to continue this mission.
The FREE dental service is limited to extractions and / or fillings. The applicant must attend an in person mandatory screening to qualify for the free services. Applicants cannot have dental insurance or Medicaid dental insurance. They also must live in Florida.
