Quick & Easy Dinner: Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo

After a long work day, most people want a good home-cooked meal that does not take several hours in the kitchen to prepare. One weekend I decided to spend more time cooking a meal I have never cooked before. If you love pasta you will love this three-step recipe. The best place to search for quick meals is right on your favorite pasta box or pasta sauce. I love Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo at Olive Garden, but I wanted to be able to cook this meal at home as well.

The ingredients are listed below, and it only takes a total of 35 minutes to prepare courtesy of Preggo Alfredo Sauce.

8 Oz Fettuccine uncooked pasta

1 1/2 lb. Boneless, skinless chicken breast. Cut up into strips.

2 tbsp. Of Olive Oil

3 Cups of Broccoli Florets or 1 piece of red bell peppers

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 jar 22 oz. prego Alfredo Sauce

Directions:

  1. Cook pasta according to the package details. Saute' Chicken in 1 tbsp of oil for 10 minutes or until it is done. Set chicken to the side.
  2. Sauté Broccoli and garlic in the remaining oil.
  3. Reduce Heat. Stir in Broccoli and cook until it is tender or for 5 minutes. Add pasta and chicken and toss to coat.
