Looking for your next dessert spot to check out? Sweet Glory is one of the new dessert spots that opened in San Francisco during the pandemic and specializes in crepe cakes and Asian-inspired desserts. Located in the Tenderloin neighborhood, you'll find the storefront nestled on Larkin Street. There isn't any parking beside street parking so it can take some time as the area is a bit rough. Sweet Glory has a variety of items ranging from toasts, croissants, kouign-Amann, and crepe cakes. Each item is reasonably priced compared to other shops and is high-quality. Not only are the desserts beautifully and displaced nicely, but they are also actually delicious and worth every bite. There are also a couple of marble tables where you can enjoy your desserts with friends. The staff was also very attentive and answered any questions I had about the different pastries.
Most shops I’ve visited usually only have simple flavors like matcha and chocolate so I am happy to see the variety here. You can choose from unique flavors like balsamic strawberry vanilla, caramel biscoff chocolate, etc for your slice of crepe cake. They even offer the full cake if you are looking to purchase it for a special event. There are also coffee and refreshing drink options like lychee rose cooler, passionfruit mango refresher, drip coffee, cappuccino, and more. The flavors stand out at Sweet Glory as you can find more combinations that are not as common as a general dessert shop. Here, you'll find flavors like salted egg yolk croissant or pandan coconut toast. I plan on coming to Sweet Glory more often to try out their other desserts and look forward to other combinations they come up with.
