Honolulu Eats: Island Vintage Coffee

Island Vintage Coffee is one of my favorite places on the entire island to get the best coffee and acai bowls. Not only is everything presented very aesthetically but the food and drinks are actually really good. Located in the Royal Hawaiian Center, you’ll find Island Vintage Coffee on the upper level with plenty of people sitting outside at their tables enjoying their items. They have a great selection of coffee beans you can find when you step inside. On their menu, there are plenty of options to choose from for breakfast and drinks. You can find breakfast items, acai bowls, salads, benedicts, burgers, and more! There is something for everyone and I guarantee you this will be your new favorite spot for all your food cravings. Located next door is also their wine bar where you’ll find a great selection of their wine and alcoholic beverages or downstairs where they have their popular shave ice shack.

I love coming to Island Vintage Coffee for their delicious island latte. When you are in Hawaii, you must try macadamia nut coffee since you usually can’t find this elsewhere. Their island latte has a hint of coconut which really takes away from the bitterness of the expresso and makes it more enjoyable. I also really like their Hawaiian honey latte which has 100% Hawaiian honey with cinnamon. This isn’t something that I usually go for but the coffee at Island Vintage Coffee is honestly amazing. I usually order an acai bowl to pair with it. My recommendations are the original acai bowl where it comes in the beautiful Island Vintage coffee mug and topped with fresh berries like strawberries, blueberries, sliced banana, honey, and more! If you are looking for a real treat, go for the haupia Moana bowl which is topped with the creamiest and amazing haupia cream with shaved coconut, berries, banana, papaya chunks, and granola. I love how they give you the option for a 16 oz which is great for one person or 24 oz which is perfect for sharing with two people. All of the items here are extremely fresh and I always hear nothing but raves about this place.

If you’re looking for a great brunch spot or delicious coffee, you must stop by Island Vintage Coffee. They also have another location in Ala Moana Center which has the same menu. This is highly rated on my list and I recommend this to anyone who loves their acai bowls.
