If you're at all involved in the North Jersey foodie scene, you've heard the name Robbie Felice. Renowned restauranteur and chef, Robbie owns both Viaggio in Wayne and Osteria Crescendo in Westwood.

Having grown up in the restaurant industry, Felice has been interested in the art of culinary for most of his life. Since graduating from the Culinary Institute of America and putting in several years of work at Babbo and B&B Ristorante, he's gone on to received countless recognition and accolades.

Things have only just begun for Felice however. He's currently hard at work developing a new restaurant concept to eventually open at the site of the old Villalobos location at 6 S Fullerton Ave in Montclair.

Partnering with Luck Sarabhayavanija of Ani Ramen, Robbie and Luck have recently teased the new concept in the form of an Instagram account called @pasta__ramen. The account was created back in December of 2020, an idea that's clearly been in the works for over a year.

Felice has mastered the ability to create buzz and excitement around an idea. He's currently created an invite only list that notifies those who are interested on the secret location of where to find his pop up restaurant tastings. For the entire month of January those in the Miami area will be able to get a sneak peek of what Pasta Ramen has to offer.

From what we can tell from the 237 pictures that have been posted since the account was first created, Pasta Ramen will be serving plenty of noodles, dumplings, wagyu beef, and decadent food embellishments like edible gold shavings. If presentation means anything, this is one restaurant you will not want to miss out on.

According to the official Pasta Ramen website, things are staying very secretive for now. Apart from a few articles and a FAQ page, there's still so much we don't know.

From what we can gather, Pasta Ramen will be an upscale dining experience with some food reviewers claiming their meal cost $250. The restaurant will marry Japanese and Italian cuisines by paring staples like sesame noodles covered in cheesy white carbonara sauce and meatballs topped with uni fish. According to their FAQ page their menu will change periodically and the dining experience is intended for mature adults, so bringing your children will not be an option as of right now.

For all updates and announcements of when Pasta Ramen will open in Montclair you can follow their official Instagram page here, or view their website here.
