This Queens Restaurant is Serving Up a Unique Drink for Spring and You Need to Try it

If you live in Queens, chances are you’ve heard of Blend.

With two locations in Long Island City and one in Astoria, Blend has certainly left its mark on the borough with its super fun environment, amazing latin food, and exciting spin on cocktails.

Their location on the water in LIC makes for the perfect day time escape with incredible views of the East River and Manhattan skyline. Their giant outdoor patio is perfectly shaded by just the right amount of trees and the cocktails are in abundance.

Their Astoria location is a little bit different. Located right on 30th Ave, this spot is a multilevel restaurant complete with a super cute rooftop bar featuring tiki lights, outdoor heaters, a lush greenery wall, palm trees and even live music on the weekends.

With an atmosphere this trendy it is no surprise that this restaurant likes to have fun with their food and drinks too.

Some menu highlights include their intriguing crispy arepa cups. These little concoctions are stuffed with braised short rib, cotija cheese, avocado, and pico de gallo. Another must try are their poke tacos. Covered in avocado crema, these tacos contain soy marinated ahi tuna, pico de gallo, scallions and sesame seeds.

Join them for their “Blunch” from 11am-4pm everyday and you can score their absolutely delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese burger.

But what’s the perfect compliment for all this amazing food though?

Their iconic blended cocktails of course.

Meet the Sanrita, these drinks are served frozen in a giant mason jar glass. Their pretty blended design is so insta worthy and the taste is a perfect combination between a tangy margarita and sweet sangria, hence the name.

Wanna know what’s inside these bad boys? Tequila, triple sec, lime juice, lemon juice, and agave for the margarita portion and the sangria portion includes orange juice, cranberry juice, pineapple juice, mango juice, rum, vodka, and of course red wine.

But it doesn't stop there, Blend offers an array of super fun cocktails that include their super pretty strawberry daquiri that comes complete with an ice pop or their pina colada which of course, comes served in a pineapple.

As you can see, they are not playing around when it comes to flavor and drink intensity. Just one of these will have you feeling lit and ready to enjoy all the outdoor drinking NYC has to offer, just in time for Spring and Summer.
