Your 2021 new year's resolution : part 2

It's not too late to set new resolutions yet, you are still on time. You loved my first list of 15 resolutions for 2021 – you asked for more, I deliver !
2021 is a year a challenge, of choices, of decisions, of goals, and so you are ! If you feel like you've missed opportunities in 2020, this is the year of new beginnings.

Here is a list of another 15 new resolutions for 2021 :

Go out and discover new places : do you know this quote saying “once a year, go someplace you've never been before” ? Well, here is your new resolution. It's good for yourself, for your souvenirs, for your memories, for your body! Discover some new cultures and meet locals : that what make the experience unforgettable.

Get out of your comfort zone : in 2021, let's leave behind the things that make you uncomfortable. I know they might be a lot, but I said this year is a year of challenge. Go over your fears, and start doing things you thought you would have never done before - only you know what will force you out and help you grow.

Retake and keep contact with people : make an effort and stay connected! Search your phone book and send a message to an old friend. Well, I know with that Covid situation it's not possible to just go for a drink, but call and message. Check in, ask what is happening and how life's going since you lost contact. It's always great to to remember childhood memories.

Start a personal project : set yourself a goal, and start a personal project. It can really be anything : learn to knit, open an online store, learn a new language, learn photography, learn to cook etc etc ... And when you will accomplish it, it will give you satisfaction.

Go over your fears : The media mogul Oprah Winfrey said, "We can't become what we need to be by remaining what we are." Whether you fear insect, failure, rejection, or heights, why not set a New Year's goal to overcome it?

Be a producer and not a consumer : we're all consumer : of food, of TV, of clothes, of news.. We are living in a consumer society, no one can deny it. But why not becoming a producer, instead of a consumer?

Care about the environment : a clean environment is essential for a healthy living. Don't you want to leave your children an unspotted planet? Earth if simply our home, and need to be loved and treated with respect. You don’t have to be an expert to save the mother nature – everyone can help their own way to. If each of us can be more conscious of environmental issues and willing to take some simple steps to save the planet, we can make a huge contribution. We don't need to do it perfectly, we need everyone to do it imperfectly.

Eat healthier : following the point of before, it turns out that healthy eating isn't just good for your body, it can also lessen your impact on the environment. Scientist said that some food production and food transporting are responsible for 20% to 30% of total global greenhouse gas emissions. A healthy diet include fruits, whole grains, vegetables, nuts, legumes, dairy products and beans.

Letting go of all the bad and focus on the positive : the brain is really bad when it's coming to letting go from the bad comments. Author Joyce Meyeronce said : “You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind.” This is why you always have to look on the bright side of things, even if they appear to not be.

Spend more time with friends : there's a good chance you are overfloaded with work, and have put your social life on sand-by. It's important to let your mind fly away from work and spend some quality time with friends AND family. Life is beautiful not because of the things we see or do. Life is beautiful because of the people we meet.

Learn to speak less and listen more : Even if you don’t say a word, the way we exchange with other people can convey a lot of information about us. Our facial expressions, the tone of voice, the word used and how much or how little we talk are all indicators of the type of person you are. It's totally fine to discuss things you are interested in with others as long as they're happy to listen to you. But if you talk to someone and want them to listen to you, you need to give the same in return. Listen. And keep the focus and what this person is saying.

Celebrating, even small victories : It's important to celebrate small wins daily and increase happiness, because it really does! There's 3 main reasons why you should : it makes you happy, it gives you more motivation, and it builds up confidence.

Listen to your body : your body is intelligent and your body speaks to you – so listen to it. This is more than a « healthy diet » or a « sport routine » it's simply about giving him what he needs. If a certain food makes you in a good mood, then have it. If a workout boost you energy, then do it.

Be satisfied with now : I know resolutions are always focused on the future: I will do this, I will go there, I will save that. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to better your future, but the secret formula to a fulfilling life is feeling whole in where you are right now. Be happy about what you have, and be excited about what you want. The life you are living now is also a dream of millions, so always be satisfied of every moments of your life.
