The college resource website UniversityHQ has ranked the University of La Verne’s College of Business and Public Management among the best in the country for 2022, recognizing the college’s excellence in multiple categories for bachelor’s degree and master’s degree online business education.
The college ranked eighth for best online business management bachelor’s college; thirteenth for online public administration bachelor’s college; eighteenth for online business administration bachelor’s college; and twenty third for online business management master’s college.
UniversityHQ reviews more than 4,000 public and private colleges and universities for its rankings, which are intended to help prospective students with their college decisions. Methodology includes factors such as cost of tuition, admission rate, retention rate, graduation rate, graduating salary, and other factors.
Online programs in the University of La Verne’s College of Business and Public Management are taught by faculty who are both practitioners and scholars. The small online class model helps accommodate an interactive learning experience.
“Our program provides the tools and outcomes that help those working in the public and non-profit sectors hone their skills and develop new ones,” said Suzanne Beaumaster, professor of public administration. “It provides a great foundation for moving into management positions.”
Kathy Duncan, director of the Master of Science in Leadership and Management program, said the college’s programs help working adults improve their managerial abilities and achieve upward career mobility in their organizations.
“Many students report promotions during the program and after graduation across a wide variety of sectors and industries,” Duncan said.
