It has to come down to two northwest Louisiana Nonselect Division IV semifinals. No. 4 Haynesville (11-1) will have to travel to No. 1 Logansport (11-1). Logansport’s only loss has been to Calvary and they have rattled off 11 straight wins from then. Haynesville has also had a loss from a team in the semifinals, defending state champion Oak Grove. Haynesville will be looking for their 27th trip to the state championship. Logansport is hoping they have better luck against the other Claiborne Parish team as Homer has defeated them the past two seasons with the older game being the 2021 state championship.
