While the Average Joe will pick up their joe at a grab-em-and-go chain like Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts, Florida locals and the most needy of caffeine fiends seem to have an affinity for the hidden-gem and hole-in-the-wall bean roasteries.
Not only do you get to support a local business, you'll also often find yourself at a unique venue established by people with a passion for the cozy beverage, whose ambiance also makes it so you never want to leave. Or, you know, at the VERY least, lug your laptop with you to work there there three days a week (or more if you possibly can) while sipping away the cream art that floats on the surface of your rich green matcha latte.
There's one coffee shop in St. Petersburg Florida whose absolute immaculate vibes come to mind — and they've got a stocking full of new eats and drinks on their menu for the holiday season, including a Christmas-themed flight of delicious caffeinated beverages!
"The holiday season officially starts at paradeco TOMORROW," Paradeco writes in a post to their official Facebook page on December 1, sharing an image of the 4-drink holiday flight in the space below, " this year we have SIX new drinks and THREE new food options." The post continues, listing out which of their six Christmas sips you'll be sucking down when you order the Holiday Flight.
First in line is the Black Forest Latte, a blend of house-made maraschino cherry and mocha syrup, espresso, oat milk, cacao powder, and topped off with a maraschino cherry garnish.
They follow it up with the Hot Cacao, made with a house-made mocha and Madagascar vanilla syrup, oat milk, cacao powder, and a marshmallow garnish.
The flavor of the winter season is peppermint, so Paradeco went ahead and crafted two different minty drinks for their flight. The Peppermint Mocha, topped with it's candy cane garnish, uses a house-made peppermint mocha syrup, espresso, oat milk, and cacao powder beverage to create the delicate dance of flavor in the mug below.
Your final beverage, a Peppermint Milk Tea, features the peppermint tea from organic tea and botanicals company based out of Milwaukee Wisconsin, Rishi Tea, Paradeco's house-made Madagascar vanilla syrup, oat milk, and gets topped off with a glittery garnish.
All drinks included in the flight come in a smaller glass, but can also be purchased as individual 16 ounce drinks. If you're anything like me though, and by that I mean incredibly indecisive, the flight offering a little taste of everything makes for a great choice to satisfy your need for the bean.
Alongside the four drinks featured on the Holiday Flight, you'll also find other seasonal selections, such as the Holiday Cookie Matcha, Gingerbread Rolled Oats, Winter-spiced Pancakes, and more.
