Harry Potter fans, this is your time to shine! Gather your best team of Muggles and get down to Railgarten OR Crosstown Brewing Company TONIGHT! It's free to play, and there will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and Best Team Name. All ages are welcome. Masks required for the unvaccinated. 3. Canoes + Cocktails at Shelby Farms Park

Canoes + Cocktails is an event hosted by Shelby Farms Park and sponsored by Old Dominick Distillery, as a fundraiser for the daily operations of Shelby Farms Park and the Shelby Farms Greenline. Do something different this weekend and watch the sunset from a kayak, canoe or paddle board on Hyde Lake! Enjoy a guided evening sunset paddle on the lake followed by socially-distant cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, yard games and music at Hyde Lake Pavilion. Rent a canoe or kayak or BYO Boat. Check-in is at 7:15 and boats launch at 7:45. This is an adults only event, and tickets are selling fast so check for availability now.

4. Memphis Ghost Walk

Friday July 30th @ 8:00 pm - The Broom Closet, South Main Arts District

Tickets: $20 adults, $15 kids ages 6-17

Journey into Memphis's dark past with one of the incredible guides from Historical Haunts Memphis. The Memphis Ghost Walk will take you to sites of hauntings based on local legends, official records and our own professional paranormal investigations. The tour is about a mile of walking, with several stops along the way, and worth every spooky step!!!!

5. Summer Movie Series: Grease!

Friday July 30th @ 7:00 pm - The Grove at GPAC

Tickets: $10 through GPAC

Sing along with the classic musical Grease! under the trees in The Grove at the Germantown Performing Arts Center. Gates open at 6:00 pm, and there will be live music by Josh Threlkeld on the First Horizon Foundation Plaza until the movie starts. The bar will be open and Lynnie’s Links food truck will be on site.

6. Bingo Night in Overton Square

Friday July 30th @ 8:00 pm - Overton Square

Play free bingo outside in Overton Square this Friday night! Bring some chairs and grab a to-go order from your favorite restaurant on the square, then meet in Chimes Square. Cerrito Bing is free to play and will have prizes every round. Visit for more information.

7. 5th Annual River City Car, Truck and Bike Show on Beale Street

Sponsored by River City Car Club, a team of Camaros, Challengers and Corvettes, the 5th Annual Car Truck, and Bike Show will be held on World Famous Beale Street on Saturday morning. 8. Snow Cones for Snow Leopards at the Memphis Zoo

Beat the summer heat with a sweet treat and play a role in Snow Leopard conservation by taking part in the Snow Cones For Snow Leopards event at the zoo on Saturday! The snowy party is hosted by Memphis AAZK and will raise money for the Snow Leopard Conservancy. You will have the chance to compete in an ice tank challenge, leap like a leopard, enjoy a snow cone, play cornhole, and throw snowball, while learning what you can do to save Snow Leopards.
