Gov. Newsom announces that now restaurants and bars serving food can serve pre-made cocktails without takeout orders. The announcement was made with a view when California fully reopens on 15th June 2021. Governor Gavin announced that restaurants and bars would be allowed to sell pre-made cocktails.
Previously, the restaurants and bars across Los Angeles bolstered their takeout sales during 15 months. The provision also spurred countless specials, business expansion, and some innovation within the industry and canning operations. The move to extend the program would allow cocktails with the sale of food.
The proposal passed in the state senate and yet has to vote in the Assembly. Newsom also has extended plans to open outdoor seating and location. The proposal will allow bars to utilize sidewalks, parking, and other alfresco areas previously unused for dining purposes.
