St. Louis, MO – Summer is the perfect time for having a picnic and photoshoot and St. Louis has some scenery to look forward to. The sunflowers and lavender will bloom from July through August. If you have waited all year for the opportunity this is the perfect time to visit a couple of flower fields you can find in St. Louis.

1. Columbia Bottom Conservation Area

A tradition for St. Louis, the Missouri Department of Conservation will plant sunflower seeds in the field each year. In Colombia Bottom Conservation Area, you can see the fields of sunflowers under the sunset sky and take beautiful pictures.

2. Eckert's Country Store & Farms

St. Louis doesn’t only have one sunflower field but two, The Eckert Country Store and Farms is offering you to enjoy a sunset in its Sunflower Trail. You can also pick your own fruits and vegetable from its farm.

Located at 951 S Green Mount Rd, Belleville, IL 62220, the farm opens every day from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visit here for more information.

3. Long Row Lavender

If you are looking to spend summer in a relaxing atmosphere, Long Row Lavender is offering you a cozy place to have some lunch while viewing their lavender farm. You can visit them from Wednesday to Saturday at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
