ST. LOUIS, MO — A Red Circle will be holding its first annual Good Food Summit on July 22-23, 2021. The summit will take place at the University of Missouri Extension St. Louis Office, located at 8225 Florissant Rd., starting from 9 a.m. CDT.

This summit aims to raise community awareness and connection through food justice efforts and strengthen partnerships and collaborations among BIPOC North County food stakeholders.

The sessions are also hoped to improve and restore community engagement in the county and boost the stakeholders' impact by positioning and highlighting them to receive higher funding.

Activities in the event include network mapping, vision-sharing, a funder's panel with special guests, and more. People will have the chance to share their insights, opinions and thoughts. Chef Robert Russian will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summit.

Participants will be collaborating on their ideas. They will be involved in group exercises to gauge their unique skills or areas of expertise, as well as determine their "Why" factor.

Voices of the community will be elevated and included. Partners will have the chance to share their visions and goals to revitalize their communities.

The event is open to anyone. People have the option to attend the two-day in-person event or via zoom. The in-person event has limited space due to health protocols. Early registration is advised.
