Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to hold their annual Concert Series

SAINT LOUIS, MO — The annual Concordia Seminary Concert Series will be held in this 2020/2021 Season at the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus on Concordia Seminary campus.

This annual concert series is to show the Concordia Seminary students' faith through music, along with the Seminary choirs and musicians. There will be chorale groups and performers visit too.

All concerts will be held in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus but the carillon concerts will have an outdoor performances from Luther Tower.

While Premiere Concerts are still on the waiting, there has been several After Chapel Concerts. These are offline mini concerts filled with musicians who master various musical instruments. The events start from 9.55 a.m. to 10.15 a.m. CT. at the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus.

Organ recital with Ryan Edinger

For the Summer Carillon Concerts, Concordia Seminary is accompanied by national and international carillonneurs and will be held every Tuesday in June at 7:00 p.m.

Concordia Seminary's carillon is one of 170 such instruments in North America. The 49 bells are dedicated to all the pastors who have served The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and have been played since 1971.

Guests are allowed to have a picnic concept while enjoying the music at the Main Quadrangle near Luther Statue. In case of rain, guests can gather under the archways or tower on the campus.
