Assassin's Creed 3: The One In Colonial America

Tyler Mc.

As I mentioned in a previous article about the Assassin's Creed videogame series and its fifteenth anniversary, I talked about how the series is about an order of libertarians and anarchists called the Assassin Brotherhood battling against a group of authoritarians and fascists (that is not a joke - one of the members of this group in the alternate history of Assassin's Creed was literally Adolf Hitler!) called the Templar Order. These two organizations battle each other throughout human history for the very fate of mankind and one of the entries show how this particular battle goes in Colonial America as the main character to take possession of attempts to fight off the Templars.

In this alternative history, there is a half-British, half-Native American man whose Native American name is Ratonhnhaké:ton and his English name is Connor Kentway. In the seventeen hundreds, Connor gets trained in the way of the Assassin Brotherhood and works to fight against the Templar presence in North America after a group of Templars hunt down the American Assassins & even burn down Connor's village - an event which leads to the death of Kentway's mother.

During this time, Connor also joins the Continental Army to fight against the British since many members of the Templar Order defend the British and want the colonies to be back under the control of the British Empire. This is all made more complicated as Connor has an uneasy alliance with his father - a father who is a member of the Templar Order who hopes to ensure Templar victory in the New World!

If you want to get Assassin's Creed III, the game and other games in the series are being sold at a discount where you can get it and other games in the series for as little as $9 with some of these discounts lasting until September 15th!
