This electric company did a timely job done and charged a fair price.
We had a great experience with the Electric Company of Seattle. They fit us in for an emergency fix. The electrician who came to my house, Brian, was on time and very fast. I like doing home improvement projects, so I stayed nearby to watch and help out. Brian disconnected the old service, wired up a new meter on the side of my house, installed a 200 amp panel at the new meter location, and ran a feeder to a 125 amp sub-panel at the old panel location to supply the original circuits. This would have easily taken me several days to complete and going without power that long would have been a real pain Brian also took the time to explain how things worked and gave some suggestions for other improvements I could do on my own. I'd hire them again.Read full story
Falafel Salam has one of the lightest and crispiest falafels I've ever eaten.
My wife and I tried Falafel Salam today and I can say we'll order from them again. I ordered the indecisive plate and she ordered the rice bowl. The food was all delicious and reasonably priced. The hummus, falafel, and lamb were especially good, but the chicken was also great. The veggies were crisp and the whole meal tasted very authentic. The Falafel sandwich was crisp and fresh, the sauce was delicious and portions were generous. The food was delicious and I look forward to our next meal. Shockingly, it's so affordable and fast service. They have a nice staff that is very enthusiastic about food. Casual. Cool atmosphere. Easy with kids. The bathrooms were surprisingly clean.Read full story

This is my go-to summer breakfast spot because the fresh fruit is delicious!
Wow, they have huge plates! This great breakfast place has a wide variety of foods with local seasoning. A must-stop if you are having breakfast. They have some very creative options when it comes to eggs Benedict. I ordered Crab grilled cheese and Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. I have also tried their Swedish pancakes which were simply delicious and they have a toppings bar for pancake/waffle orders. The crab cakes were so crispy and flavorful, their hollandaise sauce was the perfect addition on top. Easy to eat and healthy. They refill your coffee often. Lots of local produce. Their food is always super amazing! They are offering pickup and outdoor seating. I recommend you make a reservation, if possible, to avoid extra wait.Read full story
What a gem this place is! filled with beauty at every blink of an eye.
I love Discovery Park so much. It's an escape from the city, without having to drive very far. I'm so thankful something this beautiful exists in our city! Every time we have visitors in town who don't want an intense hike, we take them here. We enjoyed this park with free parking by the playground area. There were no bathrooms though to use. On my most recent trip, we did the loop trail, with a stop at the south beach trail to see the lighthouse. It wasn't very challenging, just a lot of stairs to get back up from the beach. The views and scenery were amazing, although the trail markers were hard to decipher at some points so just keep an eye out. I would recommend Discovery Park to anyone looking to get lost in nature!Read full story

Food that is hard to find elsewhere and at reasonable prices
Located in the heart of Chinatown, here one gets a fresh pick from the boxes the produce is shipped in. This is where local Asian restaurant owners shop daily during morning hours to pick fresh produce of the day. It’s no supermarket where produce is refrigerated and misted every few hours. I go there with my wife for groceries and am surprised to see the prices. Probably the best prices for Asian ingredients that I can find in the Seattle region. They have very fresh produce and vegetables. Great selection of fish and meats as well.Read full story
The energy, the people, and the atmosphere are matchless at the Six fitness studio
I can't say enough about this studio! I've always loved dancing and yoga is such a healing movement. The SIX is a yoga studio and fitness space, where the movement is truly driven by music. I first met the owners of the SIX, at a free class when they first opened a few years ago, and I have been a member since and now a proud 200 RYT from their program. The love and intention that they put into their space, the classes, and the community they foster are truly inspiring. Even though a pandemic, with the live stream classes they have available, they are pushing for what we need most right now: to be healthy, to stay grounded, to just. continue. to breathe. This space is truly something special. The studio aesthetic is top-notch. Calming, organized, and clean! Awesome concept.Read full story
The service is great, the vegies burritos and nachos hit the spot!
This place satisfies my burrito cravings every time! During quarantine, I have taken several burritos to-go and the service is always excellent and quick, and the burritos are consistently delicious. They are also a great price for their size, and it comes with several different salsas that are good and SPICY (you might have to ask for extra)! Home-made sauces are a plus! Their meatless burritos are equally as satisfying as the others too, and you can always choose between black and refried beans as well as red and green rice. One of my favorite items is Nachos and the barbacoa burrito. The margaritas are also good. I would recommend El Borracho burritos for a fairly quick and filling on-the-go meal.Read full story
Food Truck Salad with great presentation and friendly people.
Tried this place on a whim! I was walking with a co-worker during lunch trying to find a healthy alternative when I noticed the Lula truck parked on the side of the street. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of a salad food truck, I mean how much better can it be? A lot better is the answer and I was delightfully surprised how well this salad is made. I got the Ensalada with chicken for around $11 and it was fantastic. Filling, flavorful, and still felt healthy which is rare for a salad this tasty. Easy street parking outside their Wallingford location as well if driving. Going to add Lula to my weekly lunch rotation. Highly recommend this place.Read full story
The Nordic Museum is such a gem for the Seattle Locals
Museums are important to collect, preserve, interpret, and display items of artistic, cultural, or scientific significance for the education of the public. The Nordic Museum is located in Ballard and is accessible by public transit with a bus stop right in front of the museum. I visited this awesome museum with my wife and kids. Luckily, I found paid parking in the parking lot. When we enter the museum, it made me visually stunned. With spectacular architecture and exhibitions, this museum traces 12,000 years of Nordic history and showcases their culture. I learned a lot of interesting things about the Nordic regions, which include Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Greenland, the Sampi Territories, Aland, and the Faroe Islands. From the pre-Viking era to Vikings. They also have a beautiful video that explains history quite well. We saw historic clothes, toys, tools, instruments, and a model of a Viking ship.Read full story
Great burger with all the sauces and fries, but not good service.
I was headed to the airport and had to find a quick meal. So, after going through many near about food options I found 8oz burger & Co. I ordered their 8oz burger with Garlic Truffle Fries, Salted Caramel Shake, and sweet potato tots. I love how it came with this curry sauce. The burger was amazing and the patty was thick and juicy, cooked just right. All the toppings and buns were perfect. Loved the fries as well. Caramel Shake was also delicious. Definitely worth the price. Take out only right now. If I had a complaint, it would be that they didn't put napkins in the bag, but other than that it was a great burger at a great price.Read full story

Coffee at Storyville is something you must try.
We were shopping in Pike Place last week. After a very exhausting trip, we needed some refreshment. I saw Storyville coffee shop. We got so excited to find this sweet place upstairs from Pike Place Market! The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is so pleasant! Indoor seating is allowed and reasonably spaced. I ordered a mocha and an almond croissant, which was very delicious. My wife ordered Chocolate Chunk Cookie which had a slightly chewy texture, crisp exterior, and the flaky salt on top was a great finish to it. They also offered us a homemade coconut cashew milk, I poured it on my coffee, seriously it tasted heavenly with rich creaminess and depth. The staff was also kind, and interactive. Since it was our first visit, they gave us a free mug as I filled out a form. What a thoughtful gift and such a nice souvenir from a trip to Seattle. If you visit pike place, don't miss out on Storyville!Read full story
Nice shopping place but Parking is hectic.
I needed to buy some kids' clothes and myself a few colognes. Went to university village for shopping this weekend. Although this place is nice its layout is very confusing and difficult to locate stores. Higher-end stores are also located here, and lots of restaurants. A fun place for an outing and window shopping. There are many clothing and gift shops. Some of the stores are Pottery Barn Kids, Tutta Bella, Amazon Books, Apple Store, and more! I enjoyed shopping here but the parking is chaotic. Valet is also available but it was very congested.Read full story
If you have a challenging credit like mine, I highly recommend them.
I had the best experience with Finesse Auto. They have honest and professional employees. I recently had routine maintenance done on my car at this shop. I am so impressed with their work, sent photos of everything wrong and photos of the new parts and work, I believe the price they gave me was very reasonable. The online setup to check out my estimate beforehand was also extremely convenient. They worked with me on keeping me within my budget. I highly recommend this shop.Read full story

Wonderful Piroshki and many other choices of Russian food at Piroshki on 3rd
Piroshki on 3rd is one of my all-time favorites Russian restaurants. I have been there so many times before Pandemic. The overall ambiance of this spot is so fresh Green and welcoming. The cafe is cute with lots of seating. But these days they are only open for takeout and online orders. I always prefer the ham, bacon, cheese and egg Piroshki which is wonderful. Cabbage rolls and poppy seed-filled pastries are also very delicious. I ordered an online cake for my son's birthday and they deliver it within the due date, believe me, the cake was awesome and finger-licking delicious.Read full story
