Incredibly soothing waterfall sounds---a miracle to watch the serenity of Snoqualmie falls.

What a place to visit! I was blown away by the falls but I was also just surprised by how well this place was established. Snoqualmie is a must if you're visiting Seattle, WA for the first time! It's about 30 miles east of downtown Seattle. An hour from Seattle, Snoqualmie Falls is such a beautiful place to visit any time of year. You can pay $7 to park in the main lot or in the free lot across the street. Both are accessible. Just take the pedestrian bridge across. There’re a few super short walking paths with a few different spots for photos. There are two viewing plazas, upper and lower, so be sure to visit both. The lower view is my personal favorite although the deck is much smaller than up above. Because of covid the lower part of the falls is closed, but the falls are beautiful! This is a must-visit place for those visiting Seattle. They have a little, fantastic gift shop, their staff was lovely. If you are careful regarding covid, do visit this place on weekdays to ensure social distancing. There is a restaurant too, so if you get hungry, definitely check it out. We always pack all our picnic foodie stuff and enjoy our homemade food while watching nature’s beauty. Every time I drive by the area, I make sure to make a short pit stop here!
