Even during Covid, Green Lake is still a stunning park. It's quite popular to spend some quality time with nature. Well-maintained greenery with plenty of grassy areas and park benches. I used to take a little break on these benches whenever I feel to get rest. Great park for walkers, joggers, and bicycle riders. The path around the lake is divided in the middle with one side designated for walkers/joggers and the other for bikes/rollerblades. The path is an approximately 3-mile loop, allowing for a nice hour-long walk. The only congestion I observed these days are the signs asking you to only walk in one direction, and signs asking bikers to stay off but the problem is not everyone sees the signs, so there are still bikes. Stores for shopping and various restaurants are within proximity as well so you can spend a lot of time here if you choose. Great place to walk, run, ride a bike around the park and in summer it's a very nice place for swimming. Worth the visit, it is a peaceful and beautiful park. Overall a nice place to enjoy the outdoors in Seattle.
