JK McKnight founded Forecastle in 2002. Since 2012, the event in Louisville, KY has been produced by Knoxville, TN company AC Entertainment. This year’s music lineup for Forecastle weekend includes major and smaller acts from across the globe, including:

Forecastle.com is selling tickets for the event now. Tickets can be purchased as a weekend pass, or patrons can select their choice of day to visit the event, with a daily ticket purchase, at a lower rate.

The Lane Report gathered that in 2018, 70,000 people attended the Forecastle Festival in Louisville, generating $20 million in economic activity for the city. In 2018, 54% of festival visitors were non-local tourists.
The Forecastle festival begins on Friday May 27th and ends Sunday May 29th, 2022. Festivities begin daily at 12:00 PM EST at Waterfront Park in Louisville, KY.
