While looking for a fun weekend place to check out, I came upon this Russian food and coffee stand on Yelp last Saturday. From Russia with Love is in Newberg, Oregon. They also have locations in Aurora and Hubbard, Oregon.
If you are looking for a fun escape from the ordinary and a beautiful scenic drive, this is the place to go. They have delicious coffee and food that share their Russian Heritage.
It is a fantastic way to have some time together on the scenic drive in the country.

Now that I have been here, I remember passing by it many times before. I assumed it was an ordinary coffee drive-through, but it is so much more.
I love their distinctive red, white, and black stand. It catches your attention as you drive by. They are in a parking lot next to a gas station, a car wash, and a self-storage facility.
It was so much fun to try a few items from their menu.
My husband and I had never tried Russian peroshki or savory hand pies before.

These pies are fried fresh to order and have various savory fillings. You can request a regular size one, which is big enough for about three meals, or a mini size one.
We also ordered some pelmeni or Russian meat dumplings. All of the hand pies and the pelmeni come with a refreshing cucumber and tomato salad and a side of cabbage salad. My son loved these! They are like a pasta dumpling filled with juicy hamburger. So good!

My husband ordered the Boo's Love which is ground beef with rice and bell peppers. I ordered the Fat Russian, which is scrambled eggs with potatoes, cheese, and ham. They were both delicious! These two are on our must-try list along with the pelmeni! Another must is their sy-sy sauce which is soy sauce infused with jalapeno, onion, and ginger.

Two other breakfast options include: Aleksander's Fav filled with egg, cheese, and your choice of bacon, sausage, or ham or the Captain Kirk's scramble served with flatbread on the side.

For a refreshing drink, I got an iced white Russian. It is a coffee drink made with white coffee beans and flavored with white chocolate and coffee liqueur syrups. It was both flavorful and unique.
As far as vegetarian/vegan options, they have their potato peroshki or potato pelmeni available. The pelmeni is on their menu. However, the vegetarian/vegan pierogi is an option on Wednesdays and Fridays. Both of those entrees come with salads.

I also noticed they had a vegan peroshki featured as one of the specials on their window by the menu. They were also offering their seasonal special of beef borscht soup or corned beef pierogi.
For those who love seafood, their fin-fin is an option. It is deep-fried seafood of the day served with cabbage and salsa on Leepuoshki or fried flatbread.
If you prefer a rice bowl, you can get the pelmeni fillings served over rice: golden mashed potato or beef.
They also have sweet pie options, which I am excited to try next time. They have various fruit and bavarian cream fillings.
There is something for everyone to enjoy at this delicious food stand. I look forward to coming back to explore more of the sweet and savory offerings here.
