For many weeks I waited. Then, a few days ago, Supper Foods in Cornelius, just outside of Hillsboro, Oregon opened. It was well worth the wait.

I had seen their ads on Yelp and was intrigued by their business model. They have created five different food concepts in one.

They are a small food truck that makes all of their food from scratch. There are five different brands available on their website like Tamale Girl, Sapori Di Nonna, Hash Brown, and Plan V.

You can order tamales, lasagne, breakfast dishes,veggie-forward dishes, and more from Supper Foods.

Tamale girl focuses on tamales, rice, beans, salsa, guacamole, and more. Sapori Di Nonna is all about from-scratch Italian cooking and includes many fresh pasta dishes, lasagna, crostini, bruschetta, and many other delights. Burrito Factory is burrito-focused and offers meat and vegetarian options. Hash Brown has you covered for oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches, and other morning treats. Plan V is mostly vegetarian and vegan fare including burritos, nachos, and other dishes.

Once you place your order, you can pick up your food from the truck in Cornelius, just a twenty-minute drive from Beaverton, or you can have your food delivered to you.

Some of the standout dishes featured are handmade lasagna, Nutella tiramisu, vegan nachos made with pita chips, a deviled breakfast burrito, and more. All of their dishes are very creative, colorful and there are many healthy options. I love the photos and descriptions on their website.

I ordered a family pack of tamales, a vegan tamale order with two tamales and salsa, beans, rice, a caesar salad with chicken, and a slice of their chocoflan dessert.

Their tiny food truck is located right off of East Baseline.

It was simple to order online and then pick up my food. The system works very well.

When I came by to pick up my food, they were packing it up fresh. I loved the friendly spirit of both of the guys in the truck. They were very enthusiastic about their food.

I love how they packed up everything in environmentally friendly containers and even included bamboo forks with our order. Their yellow napkins added a touch of flair.

All of their food is made with care. I love that they use olive oil in their tamales and all of their cooking. They take great pride in what they do.

The tamales were very moist and delicious. We got the bean and cheese ones and the rajas (mild green chilies ones). They were out of the chicken tamales we ordered, but these were tasty.

I loved the refried beans as well. They are black beans and are very flavorful.

The chicken in the salad was out of this world! It was very moist and had so much flavor.

Their chocoflan dessert was amazing! It combines moist chocolate cake with a layer of caramel custard flan on top. It is the best I have ever tasted.

Luckily they gave me a coupon for a free chocoflan for the next time I order!

I look forward to trying their Italian dishes as well as their breakfast offerings and vegetarian options. I am very impressed with the quality of their cooking, and I am eager to try more.
