On the cusp of this Valentine's weekend, I am here to share with you five great restaurants that offer delicious takeout dinner options for your sweetie or family.

Beaverton is a city that has embraced restaurants and food carts. They have purposely enticed more food culture into the area. We used to have to travel to Portland to find a variety of places to eat.

However, now we rarely need to go further than our town for the very best.

In this article, I will share five of the best Valentine's meals Beaverton has to offer. They vary from traditional restaurants to food carts. There is something on this list for every palate and price point.

These are all restaurants we have personally visited. I love the food at each one and highly recommend them.

Rock Creek Corner:

We have been in love with this restaurant ever since we first ate dinner there in 2019. It is a fantastic local spot.

They pay close attention to their ingredients and put great care into everything they create.

This restaurant is technically in Portland. Because it is easily accessible off of 185th, I often consider it a Beaverton spot.

I still remember the kale caesar salad that we enjoyed there. I have never had a better salad since then. The dressing and toppings were top notch.

Just last Sunday, we ordered their beef slider kit for Super Bowl Sunday. It was a huge hit. My husband, son, and I loved the sliders, cheese, and sauce. So delicious!

Right now, they are closed for dine-in, but they do offer some takeout options for holidays and happy hours.

Currently, they are offering Valentine's Dinner for Two Takeout. You can order online and then pick up your meal from the restaurant. They give you instructions on how to heat your meal at home.

Their meal consists of a lovely salad, filet mignon, prawns, and a caramel dessert. They also offer Valentine cocktails and punches for two.

Wild Fin:

It is a Beaverton spot that has been on the scene for just a short while now. I remember three different occasions where we dined at this place. They were all memorable and delicious! The first time we went there, we ordered a wide variety of appetizers and small plates.

One of the big winners at this restaurant on Valentine's takeout menu is the potato rosemary bread paired with fig jam. It is scrumptious!

My son ordered the fish and chip platter includes a seafood chowder. He was blown away by how large the portion was. All of the food we have enjoyed here has been flavorful and made with love.

For Valentine's day at the Beaverton location, they are offering a takeout dinner for two. It consists of herb-roasted beef tenderloin, mashed potatoes, asparagus, potato rosemary bread with fig jam, Ceasar salad, and chocolate cake.

When you order your takeout dinner for two, you can select your pick up date and time.

Golden Valley Brewery:

It is another beautiful local spot that is offering special Valentine's dinners to go.

We have enjoyed some lovely meals at this spot as well.

They used to serve brunch, which was nothing short of decadent and delicious. We also have tried their happy hour appetizer offerings as well as traditional dinners.

Now they are offering a delightful takeout menu for two this Valentine's Day. Today is the last day to book this dinner for pick up. However, there are also dine-in options.

Their offering includes a choice of entrees with salad, appetizer, and dessert: blood orange & fennel salad, yellowtail tuna Crudo, petit filet mignon, or seared Alaskan jumbo scallops along with a chocolate cheesecake with a raspberry tequila sauce.

Love Pasta:

This is an unassuming food cart located in a pod of other carts off Western Avenue in Beaverton. Do not let appearances deceive you. This establishment serves the best fresh pasta we have ever encountered.

I recommend this place for Valentine's Day takeout because it is fancy, delicious, and at a great price point for families. They also have "create your own" pasta and vegetarian options.

I happened to find this place after doing some research on Yelp. It is highly rated, and I can see why.

The food produced here is of a very high standard and is utterly divine.

We have sampled the pesto pasta with shrimp, classic spaghetti, breadsticks, and Italian sodas. They were all fresh, flavorful, and of very high quality.

You can stop by the food truck and order your food to go, call in your order, or you can get it delivered by Uber Eats or Grubhub.

The Frying Scotsman:

We were first put under the spell of this food truck in Portland. Every year after Christmas, we used to go on something we would call a Downtown Adventure. It meant we stayed in a hotel room in Portland for two to three days and pretended we were tourists.

During this time, we explored the city in search of great food spots. The Frying Scotsman was one of the many treasures that we found.

My son is something of a fish and chips connoisseur. The fish served here has been his all-time favorite.

Now that this food cart has moved to the BG Food Cartel lot in Beaverton, we are even more delighted.

Here you can find very traditional British fish and chips along with other fried seafood and delicacies. Everything is top-notch, fresh, and tasty.

I love how soft and creamy the chips are, and the tartar sauce is my favorite in the whole world.

I suggest this food cart for Valentine's Day takeout because their halibut fish and chips are worthy of a celebration. If you, your sweetheart, or your family loves seafood, this is the place for you.

You can order at the cart or through Door Dash.

Frying Scotsman Location: BG Food Cartel, 4250 SW Rose Biggi Ave, Beaverton, OR 97005

Hours:

Monday through Saturday 11 am to 7 pm, except on Mondays until 3 pm and Tuesdays until 5 pm.

Phone number: (503) 706-3841

I wish you, your sweetheart, and your family a happy Valentine's Day! With all of these local offerings, you are bound to have a special celebration!
