Curse of the Tilley Bend Witch: Fact or Fiction?

In this episode, Tommy and I travel to beautiful Blue Ridge, Ga., to determine if there's any truth in the legend of the Tilley Bend Witch. In 1905, Elizabeth Jane Bradley was hung for cursing both her own, as well as a neighboring settlement as the result of a long standing feud between the two communities that led to the death of two of her daughters and a grandchild. When Elizabeth's curse seemed to come to fruition, she was dragged from her home and hung in the Tilley Bend Church Cemetery. Before she died, Elizabeth extended her curse to further include even more victims, while promising she would return. In 1906, her sister-in-law became the settlement's next victim, with her death taking place a year to the day of Elizabeth's. This tragic story of heartbreaking loss, grief, and bitter anger has passed down through the generations, but was there any truth to the legends? Watch and find out!
