Paddle Boat + Sun + Green Lake = FUN!

We really had a lot of adventures this weekend (you'll learn even more in this week's YouTube episode). We got to explore Green Lake.

According to their website: Green Lake is one of Seattle's most beloved parks. Its expanse of water and green space in the center of a dense urban neighborhood draws thousands of people daily from all over the city. The park serves as a natural preserve for hundreds of species of trees and plants, as well as numerous birds and waterfowl. The 2.8-mile path around the lake provides a perfect recreational spot for runners, bikers, skaters and walkers. Many others use the athletic fields or visit the park for boating, picnics and swimming.

We decided to rent a two-person paddle boat.... and it was so worth it! It's only $25 per hour to rent, you get life jackets, and they are pretty easy to maneuver.

It's summertime in Seattle - so get out and explore the water, the boats, and more - it's worth it!

A channel where a black couple travels around the Seattle area and the Pacific Northwest, and let you know if they feel comfortable as black people visiting for the first time. They also help you out and tell you how the drive was and how much fun they had. Think of this channel as the "Green Book" of the Pacific Northwest.
