From towering mountains to crystalline lakes, there are some truly beautiful places to be found in Nevada. However, we're not talking about those places in this article, unfortunately.
Instead, we're taking a look at something entirely opposite–the ugliest city in the state.
An article published by Travel.Alot.Com has dubbed one Nevada city in particular as one of the absolute ugliest in America.
The travel site has scoured the country looking for the biggest eyesores whether it's due to lack of maintenance, or just poor architectural choices.
So which city is the ugliest in Nevada? According to Travel A Lot, that would be none other than Reno.
Reno is a city in the northwest corner of Nevada, along the Nevada-California border, about 22 miles north of Lake Tahoe. It is known as "The Biggest Little City in the World."
So what is it about Reno that makes it an ugly city? As the article mentions, this city is merely a wannabe Las Vegas without any of the perks.
One Reno resident on Reddit is quoted: "We're trashy because we all love each other. We're trashy because we're not afraid to be ourselves; even out in public. We're trashy because we share the same things, we're all in this together and we don't let "normal" social constructions hold us back."
What do you think? Has Reno rightfully earned the title of Nevada's ugliest city? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
