When it comes to chain restaurants, your quantity of options is never an issue in a country like America. What you really need to watch out for is quality.
With that in mind, the editors over at Mashed have conducted a study to find each of the 50 states' best chain restaurants.
They have meticulously sifted through recommendations, online reviews, and other forms of recognition to pinpoint the absolute best chain restaurant in each state.
The results have been revealed and the winner for Maryland is none other than Chaps Pit Beef.
Chaps Pit Beef got its start in 1987 in Dundalk. Today, the small regional chain is known for having the best pit beef sandwiches and has been awarded the 'Best of Baltimore' for over 24 years.
With locations in the cities of Baltimore, Aberdeen, Frederick, and Glen Burnie, Chaps has loyal patrons all over Maryland and is one of the highest-rated fast-food restaurants in the region.
In addition to their namesake sandwiches, Chaps also serves a variety of homestyle sides like natural cut fries, mac and cheese, baked beans, and homemade bread pudding.
