This Iconic Arkansas Restaurant is Known for One Single Menu Item

Finding a restaurant that's been making traditional food the same way for generations is not so easy.

Old-school and family-owned, these beloved restaurants are often preferred over corporate chains for their authenticity, community orientation, and friendlier service.

The Venesian Inn is one of those places. This iconic Arkansas dining establishment has been serving up all the Italian classics since 1947.

Located in Tontitown, The Venesian was opened by Germano Gasparotto and an Italian immigrant. After a few years, he sold the business to John and Mary Granata, also native Italians who still own the restaurant to this day.

You'll find every type of Italian staple here from apps like mozzarella sticks and fries topped with alfredo sauce to meatball parms, shrimp scampi, and lasagna.

The real star of the show here however is the incredible spaghetti fried chicken dish, which has garnered a cult-like following.

While it may sound strange to those who have never tried it, the combination of crispy chicken, flavorful meat sauce, and homemade pasta actually complement each other perfectly.

The Venesian Inn's warm and flaky rolls are another beloved favorite. They're made from scratch daily, just like everything else on the menu. Opt for one of these irresistible rolls on the side of your spaghetti fried chicken and you've got the ultimate Italian comfort food meal.
