Some of us are die-hard foodies. We religiously watch the Food Network, we love to try new restaurants, and dining out does not mean simply visiting a fast-food chain.

From local eateries to upscale cafes, there is an abundance of excellent restaurants in Connecticut but some towns, simply offer a bit more than others.

The scenic town of Milford is home to about 50,000 residents and while this area draws plenty of visitors for its shopping malls and miles of coastline, it is also home to a thriving dining scene.

No matter what type of cuisine you are craving, you're bound to find it somewhere within this charming town's streets.

For breakfast, there's no better place to head to than The Corner Restaurant, a cozy old-fashioned spot that serves up innovative gourmet brunch plates from a fresh crabmeat breakfast quesadilla to peaches and cream stuffed French toast.

For lunch, you are going to want to try Colony Grill, one of CT's most infamous pizza spots. This casual sports bar is most known for its incredible thin-crust pizzas topped with their signature hot oil. Their most popular pies include the pepperoni, breakfast, and salad pizza.

By far one of the most celebrated restaurants in town, a trip to Stonebridge Restaurant for dinner is a must. This lively tavern boasts an incredible waterfront view and wide selection of New England seafood and classic American fare including crispy lobster claw truffle fries, shrimp and pork belly risotto, and a quesadilla burger.

What do you think? Is Milford the best foodie town in CT? Let us know your favorite city or town to head to when you're looking to indulge in a delicious meal.
