Walk Through Thousands of Dazzling Lights at Virginia's Winter Wander Trail

There are so many wonderful ways to ring in the holiday season in the state of Virginia but one of the best and most magical ways to celebrate the start of Christmas is by taking a trip to Boar's Head Resort for their Winter Wander Trail of Lights. Keep reading to learn more.

Back for its second year, Winter Wander is a family-friendly event designed for all ages to enjoy. The trail is half a mile long and filled with incredible displays, dazzling lights, and plenty of attractions that are sure to put you in the holiday spirit.

Located in central Virginia in the city of Charlottesville, the Boar's Head Resort is an amazing place to visit any time of the year but this beautiful property truly comes alive in the winter when it transforms into a wonderland experience that lasts from November until January.

This light trail is not one to be missed. Last year, the trail featured a mama and baby boar. New for this year, the trail will include a papa boar light display that stands 16 feet high.

In addition to this, you'll also be able to enjoy a giant welcoming tree, fire pits, lawn games, a tunnel of lights, a bar on the green, a flower garden, and special visits from Santa.

There will also be plenty of vendors available so you can enjoy some festive food and drinks including a s'mores station.
