The South Drive-In Flea got its start in Columbus during the 1970s as a space where residents could congregate in a collective space to sell things they no longer wanted. Over the decades, South Drive-In has undergone many changes. Today, it is known as one of the largest outdoor markets in the state. There are more than 200 vendors featured here at any given time.

The early bird certainly does get the worm at this giant outdoor yard and garage sale. Dealers will arrive at the market between 5 am and 7 am. It is not uncommon to see early buyers scavenging yard sale bargains with their flashlights in the dark. If you want in on the best bargains, it is highly recommended to come as early as you can. Coming before 9 am is suggested.
