10. Point Pleasant

Coming in at number 10 is Point Pleasant. One of the most family-friendly beaches, Point Pleasant boasts a boardwalk complete with plenty of arcade games, mini-golf, an aquarium, an amusement park, and even a lively bar and restaurant for older crowds.

9. Long Beach Island

This 18-mile-long stretch of coastline is dotted with lighthouses, historic towns, and plenty of places to shop and eat. LBI is often regarded as a family-friendly area compared to other beaches along the shore.

8. Brigantine Beach

A 6-mile strip of coastline located near Atlantic City, Brigantine Beach offers designated areas for boating, fishing, sailing, surfing, and grilling. This beach is a bit quieter and family-oriented.

7. Seaside Heights

Known as the home of MTV's Jersey Shore, Seaside Heights features a bustling boardwalk scene and 474 acres of coastline.

6. The Wildwoods

With wide, sprawling beaches and over 5 miles of coastline, it's no wonder the beaches of Wildwood are consistently ranked as some of the top NJ destinations in the summertime. Coming in at the top of the list is Cape May, located at the southernmost tip of the Jersey Shore. Known for its storybook Victorian homes and pristine beaches. Cape May has remained one of the most iconic beach towns in the United States over the last 2 centuries.
