The Ranch at Rock Creek

Go:  Experience a luxury dude ranch in Montana with a stay at The Ranch at Rock Creek. This all-inclusive, all-season ranch experience offers guests 29 one-of-a-kind accommodations ranging in size from one-bedroom suites to five-bedroom homes. Whether you choose a stay at The Granite Lodge, Glamping Cabins, the Historic Barn or one of the Luxury Homes, guests will be sure to find their home away from home comforts.

Enjoy signature experiences such as fly fishing, horseback riding and the Little Grizzlies Kids Club as well as winter activities ranging from cross-country skiing to snowmobiling. Be sure to experience the frontier traditions offered at The Ranch such as wildlife viewing, sapphire mining, a ranch rodeo and more.

As the world’s first Five-Star Forbes Travel Guide Ranch, guests can expect an experience unlike any other. Focus on mind and body wellness at Granite Spa, offering wild-inspired treatments incorporating the deep connection with the Montana land. Also expect exquisite dining options as the culinary team masters ranch-to-table cuisine.

And Do Good: While sustainability has been central to The Ranch since opening, this exquisite ranch is also doing so much good in its local community. The Ranch is committed to serving the Granite County community and surrounding area through its support of local organizations and events that improve the lives of our fellow citizens. In addition, Granite County, a frontier county with fewer than two people per square mile, lacks efficient emergency medical services, The Ranch at Rock Creek is helping by getting more EMTs to respond to emergencies by hosting EMT classes in the fall and winter.

When General Manager Jon Martin and his wife Brenda came to Philipsburg in early 2018, there were no childcare options for their two young girls. A parent staying at home was a change the Martin family was able to make, but they soon saw that other employee families and single-parent households needed more childcare options to maintain their careers and provide for their families. In 2019, they opened The Nest on-site childcare. Ranch employees pay $25 per day for the first child and $15 per day for the second, which covers a portion of the expense for this program. The remainder is covered by The Ranch as a benefit to employees.
