The Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar

Diners from all over Los Angeles enjoy the beachside dining at The Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar. Ranking in the top 5 restaurants in San Clemente, the American Seafood restaurant is a TripAdvisor Travelers Choice 2021 winner. Over 1500 reviewers on TripAdvisor have given it an average of 4 stars. (out of 5)

As far as water views are concerned, it is the No. 1 steakhouse with water views in Orange County, California, according to TripAdvisor reviewers.

Its claim to fame is the spectacular sea views and the waterfront outdoor dining.

Diners love the Oyster Bar, which includes favorites such as prawn and crab cocktails, ceviche, calamari strips, poke, buckets of clams and mussels, and oysters.

Additionally, with indulgent seafood meals such as halibut and whole Dungeness crab, you would be mistaken for thinking that the Fisherman's Bar's specialty is seafood. It is! However, it gets its award in the steakhouse category for its New York Steak, Filet Mignon and scampi, and Fisherman's hamburger (a decadent half-pound serving of Angus beef.)

There are specialty cocktails, craft beer, and an extensive award-winning wine list. So go at sunset time and enjoy the evening sea breeze and views!

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; they also have Happy Hour at sunset, Monday through Friday, 4-7 pm.

"The Fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar was an excellent find! As we were traveling from San Diego to Laguna we stopped to have lunch! The location is on the beach with a fantastic view of the ocean. The food was excellent, we had the ahi tuna (best I had in a very long time) and seafood fettuccine. Our server was friendly and very attentive. We liked the restaurant so much we returned a few days later on our way to Los Angeles and ordered their steamed clams, the linguine with red clam sauce, coleslaw, and hand-cut French fries. Both meals were amazing, and very large portions!" - 4Funnsun, TripAdvisor.

The highlight is the outside seating on the charming patio and the ocean views!

On top of that, guests love the vintage decor, atmosphere, service, and the huge portions.

Highlights include filet mignon, chicken cordon bleu, baked manicotti, New Zealand rack of lamb, veal marsala, and surf + turf.

Additionally, they have an extensive range of wine options and craft cocktails.

If you haven't been to Dizz's As Is, make time to treat yourself to something new, though they have been servicing the Lagune area for over 42 years with the same owner.

"A Laguna Beach Classic Meets Cote d'Azur. Over the past 7 years, when friends come into Laguna Beach, Dizz's is the place we have noticed that literally everyone loves. There is nothing like it anywhere. It's classic French cuisine meets Italian Ligurian fare. You'll feel like you've traveled to the Cote d'Azur, perhaps in the 1950's/60's. The environment is fun, funky, warm and cozy inside, and the outdoor patio has a fire pit and view since it sits on PCH. The food is incredibly delicious with generous portions. The menu covers an array of classics from meat to pasta to seafood... Come hungry since all dinners include a glass of vermouth, pate de maison, soup de jour or salad and hot freshly made sourdough bread. It is an incredible value!" -RioAngelina, Los Angeles, California, TripAdvisor.
