Opinion: You are Greater Than Your Greatest Excuse.

But I can't afford it.
But I don’t have time.

You are greater than your greatest excuse. It's up to you to not let this mindset hold you back.

Two of the most common excuses I hear when new clients are looking to sign up with me:
"I don’t have time." "Now's not the right time".
Or "I don’t have the money."

We all have an excuse if we let there be an excuse. And no I'm actually not a “no excuses” person. I do believe that there are actual valid excuses. Those do exist. Some things are out of our control and we genuinely can't do all that we say we want to do. Life is full of the unexpected. I get that.

But those are rare. They shouldn't be what we fall back on.

Let me ask you, how much time and money do you spend a week on alcohol? How much do you spend out to eat and on food? How about on new clothes or shoes?

My Actors - Do you spend your time and money on headshots? Acting classes?
Of course you do. Because your career is important to you.

But for some reason your health and your wellness, your body, which is also your instrument and your craft, isn’t as important enough for you to spend your time and money on.

Right now spending money on clothes and drinks and food and coffee every morning, those are your habits, and habits are hard to break but it can be done.

After all, easy is earned.

If it’s important to you, you’ll find the funds for it.
If it’s important to you, you’ll find the time.

We either spend more TIME learning how to properly make change or we spend more MONEY on experts who have made your struggles their expertise.

The choice is yours. Would you rather spend TIME or MONEY?

Just remember that money is ABUNDANT. And sometimes it takes doing deep inner money work to understand this and to let our money work for us and help us.

I used to hold tight to my monies. And because my knuckles were so tightly closed, I wasn’t able to receive all the money flying toward my palms. I missed out on all the money coming my way because I was so focused on holding mine so tight.

Money is abundant, literally. And you have access to it. Currency is just exchange. And as soon as we take care of ourselves first, we become better at navigating that exchange.

You are greater than your greatest excuse. It's up to you to not let this mindset hold you back.
