Unique Foam Roller Exercises

As we get deep into the winter months, more and more of us are staying home to avoid the spread of the corona virus.

That means less time at the gym, more time for home workouts.

The biggest struggle most people find with working out from home is the lack of equipment and space. We're now in month 10 of the pandemic and bodyweight only workouts can start to feel super repetitive. Plus, equipment is still unavailable or just ridiculously expensive.

But what most people DO have, and a piece of equipment that still seems to be readily available is a foam roller! You can grab one for 18$ off of amazon. Super affordable and versatile!

Foam rollers not only help with mayofascial release, but they are also a great tool to use for some creative, and unique exercises.

1. Ab Roll Out

A super challenging ab exercise to ramp up that core! Who needs an ab roller when we have a FOAM roller.

2. Knee Tucks

Another solid core exercise is a knee tuck. These are not only challenging for your abs, but they also add a bit of work to your shoulders as you work to hold this plank position.

3. Hamstring Curls

Don't have a hamstring curl machine? No problem, this foam roller curl will do more than the trick, I promise. Add a glute thrust in between to fire up the glutes and also to get adequate rest between reps, trust me you might need it.

4. Archer Push Up

Another super tough exercise! Add this to your routine to work your core and chest!

Perform these exercises in a sequence with 10-15 reps each. Repeat the rounds for a total of 3-4 times through for an epic full body workout.

You really don't NEED equipment. There's plenty of different exercises that we can do with just a bit of creative thinking.
