Big Whitetail Buck

This massive Whitetail Deer Buck is marking his territory as southern Indiana goes into mating season, which is known as “Rut”. he does this by placing his scent on small trees, by rubbing his antlers on them, and by scraping the ground with his hoofs and urinating into it. The serve as markers for other competing males in the area as well as to let the Does know he is there.
