It’s not a trick — just plenty of treats. Wendy’s has a new promotion to celebrate the Halloween weekend with five straight days of scary-good deals. It runs from Friday, October 27 thru Tuesday, October 31, 2023.

All the offers will be available by using the Wendy’s mobile app.

On Friday, October 27, 2023, you and your boo can get a BOGO Premium Sandwich. For instance, buy a Loaded Nacho Cheeseburger and get one free.

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, Wendy’s is giving away a free Crispy Chicken Sandwich with any purchase.

Sunday is fun day! Start it out with a BOGO Croissant or Biscuit sandwich. There are several to choose from like the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant, Sausage, Egg, and Swiss, Croissant, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit, and Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit.

If you need some caffeine on Monday, October 30, 2023, enjoy a $0.99 small coffee. Order it hot, chillingly cold, or frosty cream cold. Try the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Frost Cream Cold Brew for a festive pick-me-up.

Halloween is Tuesday, October 31, 2023. Wendy’s is giving away free 6 pc. Nuggs with any purchase. Now that is spook-tacular!

Throughout the promotion, you can get your Frosty Boo! coupon books for just $1. Books are available through the mobile app or in-store. The purchase supports the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. The book is inspired by DC Super Heros.

The coupon books offer 5 free Jr. Frosty treats featuring iconic Frosty characters dressed up in DC Super Hero costumes such as Wonder Woman, Super Man, and Batman. A collectable DC toy will be included in every Wendy’s Kids’ Meal. It will come in special-edition packaging for a limited time.

Fun fact #1: Wendy’s began serving breakfast in 1985 with items like breakfast sandwiches. Then they tried getting fancy with made-to-order omelets. That mistake took the fast out of fast food. It bogged down service time and they eventually took it off the menu.

Fun fact #2: Most people know Dave Thomas’ restaurant chain was named after his daughter who was just eight years old when he founded Wendy’s in 1969. But here’s the kicker — her name is Melinda, not Wendy. Dave had worked with Colonel Sanders at Kentucky Fried Chicken and knew a character or mascot was important.

Fun fact #3: Back in 1979, Wendy’s restaurants added salad bars. Customers could choose the ingredients and make it themselves. This lasted through the 80s, but when the drive-thru became popular, the salad bars went the way of the dinosaur.

Are you going to take advantage of Wendy’s Halloween promotion? Which day has the deal you don’t want to miss? I’d love to read your opinions in the comments!
