Other than cheese, pepperoni is the most popular pizza topping in America. It’s no wonder. Few can resist its salty and spicy flavor. When pepperoni is cooked, it often curls up and the edges char, forming a bowl or what many people lovingly refer to as a ‘grease chalice.’

Domino’s Pizza is giving people more of what they want. The world’s largest pizza company is now offering Pepperoni Stuffed Cheesy Bread in franchises and corporate stores across the United States.

“Pepperoni makes everything better,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s Senior Vice President — Chief Brand Officer, in a recent press release. “Adding out number one pizza topping to our Stuffed Cheesy Bread was a no-brainer. We honestly can’t believe we didn’t launch it sooner! Whether you enjoy it as a stand-alone meal or pair it with your favorite pizza, Pepperoni Stuffed Cheesy Bread makes for a crave-worthy, delicious treat.”

Domino’s new Pepperoni Stuffed Cheesy Bread begins with oven-baked bread sticks. They are stuffed with savory pepperoni and real mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Then, its topped with a dash of garlic and Parmesan, making every bite a mouthful of deliciousness. Each order consists of eight pieces.

Domino’s is adding Pepperoni Stuffed Cheesy Bread to its mix and match deal. People can pick two or more menu items for $6.99 each.

Domino’s began offering their original Stuffed Cheesy Bread in 2011. Now it comes in several flavors including Original, Spinach and Fetta, and Bacon and Jalapeno.

Fun fact #1: Over 250 million pounds of pepperoni is consumed in America every year — more than 340 tons a day!

Fun fact #2: Almost everyone loves cheese, even royalty! Someone gave Queen Victoria (1837–1901) a humongous wheel of cheddar cheese as a wedding gift. It weighed over 1000 pounds!

Fun fact #3: You can thank Italian immigrants for creating pepperoni. They had to alter their favorite recipes to ingredients readily available in America. They changed the way they made salami, which was 100% pork, and blended the pork with beef. Then they added papricka and chili pepper as opposed to the garlic and wine they added to their salami. Then the meat is dried to create pepperoni.

Fun fact #4: People across the United States love their pizza, but were you ever curious to know which states eat the most pepperoni? Wonder no more! Folks in New York, Illinois, California, Florida, and Texas scarf down more pepperoni than other states.
