If you are a food lover, you won’t want to miss the 13th Annual Taste of the Irish Hills on Saturday, March 11th and Sunday, March 12th, 2023. Tickets for the self-guided tour are only $25.00 per person and comes with a map to lead you through the Irish Hills as you visit over 25 restaurants and businesses.
At each stop, participants will be offering samples of their specialties for visitors to try. In Brooklyn’s downtown area, visitors will be welcomed at Brooklyn Big Boy, Callaghan’s Coffee Café, Hometown Pizza, JR’s Hometown Grill & Pub, and Wesco.
Enjoy stunning waterfront views from Jerry’s Pub & Restaurant on Wamplers Lake and the Eagle’s Nest Bar & Grill on Clark Lake. Overlook beautiful vineyards at The Winery North of 12 and Cherry Creek Cellars, and dream of springtime at Clark Lake Golf Course.
Steep yourself in history at the Old Irish Mill and the Brick Walker Tavern & Rustic Barn, both historical landmarks. At the Irish Hills Wedding Barn & Convention Center, the wedding barn was built in 1848.
Things get spicy in all the best ways at Lucero’s Bar & Grill in Clarklake. Artesian Wells Tavern and Brooklyn Moose Lodge # 2651 are two of the area’s favorite gathering places for food and fun.
Enjoy fresh and local ingredients at Sylvia’s Catering. Discover the delicious desserts and baked goods from Pastry Perlieu. The Pastry Perlieu will be set up at the Cambridge Junction Historical Park off M-50.
In Napoleon, be sure and check out Booher’s Fresh Market & Diner and tell them congratulations. They recently celebrated the first anniversary of their grand opening. Afterward, satisfy your sweet tooth at Stoyanna’s Ice Cream & Catering on Brooklyn Road in Jackson.
Savor the incredible creations of the innkeeper and chef of Green Leaf Mansion Bed & Breakfast in Onsted. Diane Newell is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and studied culinary arts in France and Italy.
In Jerome, continue the Taste of Irish Hills at the Deck Down Under, a Michigan bistro restaurant, and the Lake LeAnn Golf Course.
Take a lovely drive around Manitou Beach, often referred to as the Saugatuck of Irish Hills. The Sandbar Café, Coffee & Creamery, Boot Jack Tavern, Highland Inn, and Two Lakes Tavern look forward to greeting old friends and meeting new ones.
In Tipton, be sure to visit the Patriot Pub & Grub and stop in at Hidden Lake Gardens for a special treat.
