Chop House coming to Luray
Harrisonburg-based LOCAL Chop & Grill House has purchased the former Moonshadows restaurant in Luray with plans to open for lunch and dinner, beginning in September. Fine dining experience coming to Luray
A new restaurant is coming to 211 West Main Street, Luray, near Court Street. The menu will feature fine wines, crafted cocktails and small plates With a “don’t rush perfection” mindset, Porch and Vine owner Tony Villa indicated the restaurant will open either in the fall of 2023 or the spring of 2024. ZoraJane, a downtown Luray event space is scheduled to open this fall. According to their Facebook page, the business is named after the owners’ mothers, and inspired by the casual elegance of home entertaining. Gym Opening just days away
Steel City Fitness, Luray’s newest gym, is accepting membership sign-ups online and is due to officially open its doors on June 12 and will be open 24-7. To facilitate new member “paperwork” (including ID photos and assignment of key fobs), the gym will offer “Open House” hours June 9, 10 and 11. The return of Flotzies

A new restaurant will soon open in Luray, at the site of the former Sonny’s restaurant in Luray. PCSO police scanner online
The Page County Sheriff’s Office police scanner broadcast is currently available via website or app. These broadcasts are made available by individuals and are not streamed in any official capacity by local law enforcement agencies. Several apps are available for FREE use and download. On most apps, a “local” or “nearby” feature will automatically find the PCSO broadcast stream. One free app to try is “Police Scanner Radio” (orange and black icon) which has a “nearby” tab to pick up broadcasts from Page, Shenandoah, Rockingham and Warren Counties.
