Meet me today at Noon, at Loggins Restaurant - 137 S Glenwood Blvd, Tyler, Texas - A Tyler Staple Since 1949 (74 Years) and still counting and is one of the oldest restaurants in East Texas.
The Loggins Restaurant, which was once open for breakfast, lunch and dinner is only open for lunch.
Owner Lyana Loggins said that the restaurant, serves a daily lunch buffet that includes salad bar, six meats, about eight to ten vegetables, rolls, corn bread and about ten different desserts.
Jerry Loggins former owner Loggins Restaurant of who was the founders Paul Loggins son was only 2 years old when the restaurant, open in 1949. Before opening the restaurant, Paul was the main baker at Vaugh's Sweet Shop which was downtown Tyler, Texas.
