A little over a week ago, Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent a letter to the Nation’s governors on the border crisis. Texas sees the majority of migrants and border traffickers who carry the deadly drug fentanyl.

Republican governments all responded in agreement they would provide support to the Lone Star State. Some even visited Governor Abbott in Austin this past Monday to get more information on the border crisis.

Florida Governor and Presidential Candidate Ron DeSantis sent his military support immediately.

Now, Nebraska Governor Jim Pillan sent the support that he previously mentioned here.

Governor Pillan said:

“Our nation has a serious and unchecked threat on its hands following President Biden’s decision to end Title 42.”
“Nebraska is committed to using every tool in its toolbox to help stop the influx of illegal immigration at our southern border. Illegal immigration hurts our nation’s security, undermines the rule of law, and threatens the wellbeing of our state.”

Nebraska is sending 10 drone operators who all volunteered and they will assist Texas and provide aerial reconnaissance support.

Colonel John Bulduc who is the Superintendent of the Nebraska State Patrol added:

“Our team of drone operators will provide valuable assistance to our law enforcement partners in Texas as they work to keep communities safe at the border.”
“Our team is eager to join troopers from several other states answering Texas’ call for assistance.”

Previously, Governor Pillan is in agreement with Governor Abbott and said:

"Our nation has a serious and unchecked threat on its hands following President Biden's decision to end Title 42."

Not every Republican governor may have a migrant issue, but the main reason may be the fentanyl crisis in their home state.

Do you think Governor Pillan did the right thing to support the Texas governor?
