Democratic President Joe Biden called out the Republicans. He may not have called out all Republicans, but specifically, MAGA Republicans who support former President Donald Trump.
When Donald Trump ran for President in 2016, many knew him as a real estate investor and former host of The Apprentice. Trump has published several books all on real estate of course including Trump, How to Get Rich, The Art of the Deal, Why You Want to Be Rich and Midas Touch with Robert Kiyosaki, Think Big and Kick Ass in Business and Life. Then in 2016, he wrote Great Again: How to Fix Our Crippled America.
While visiting Las Vegas on March 15, President Biden talked about healthcare and the high cost of medicine. This was only a few days after Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and a possible Republican candidate visited the city.
Biden continued and thanked the medical community, especially nurses and healthcare workers.
A few minutes later he changed topics and made a comment about the Republican party. Specifically, MAGA Republicans are associated with former President Donald Trump who ran on the platform Make America Great Again (MAGA).
Biden said:
Unfortunately, my MAGA — and, by the way, I mean it sincerely — this is not a broad criticism of all Republicans. This is not your father’s Republican Party. This is a different breed of cat now that’s in charge.
No, but I — but think — think about it. You know, I knew a lot of good Republicans who represented this state as senators. They were friends. We disagreed. But they had — they were conversative Republicans. But these MAGA Republicans, they’re a different — they’re just different. They continue to be determined to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
And, you know, it’s hard to believe, but they’ve already voted to change or get rid of the Affordable Care Act, since it passed, 50 times — five-zero. They failed every time.
President Biden hasn’t formally announced he is seeking a second term, but he is making moves to attract voters when it comes time for election day in 2024.
Biden has provided his policy on immigration and drilling oil in Alaska moving away from his green policy initiative when he came into office. Now he comes out targeting the MAGA party.
Do you think Biden is preparing for a 2024 re-election run for president?
