None of the injuries were life-threatening, thankfully
Details are emerging of an apparent shooting that occurred outside a restaurant hosting an afterparty following an exclusive Justin Bieber concert on Saturday February 12.
According to reports, Floridian rapper Kodak Black who lives in Pompano Beach, Florida, was one of the four who were injured by gunshots amidst the chaos.
The party was being held at The Nice Guy restaurant in Beverley Grove, Los Angeles. Kodak Black who lives in South Florida was in attendance along with other celebrities including - reportedly - Leonardo DiCaprio, Drake and Khloe Kardashian.
Black was one of four shot
Police reports confirmed that there were four people injured in the shooting - all males - aged 19, 20 and 60-years-old as well as Kodak Black - whose real name is Bill Kapri. It is thought that Black fled the scene, but later called an ambulance to take him to hospital, suggesting that his injuries may not have been too severe.
A troubled start to 2022
Kodak Black is rarely out of the news for long, and made the headlines from the very start of 2022 - he was arrested on New Year's Eve in Broward County for trespassing, and taken into custody at Pompano Beach.
This came just a month or so after he'd made the news for doing good for the local community, donating thousands of Thanksgiving turkeys to families in need throughout south Florida. This was in spite of him being in rehab at the time.
It was such acts of charity that were cited as one of the reasons for Black being granted a presidential pardon by Donald Trump at the end of his presidency.
Whatever the circumstances that led to the shootings on February 12, hopefully all the victims will recover quickly as none were reported to have incurred life-threatening injuries.
As of now, no arrests or suspect information have been reported.
