Chef Emeril Lagasse’s flagship restaurant Emeril’s in New Orleans re-opened on Tuesday, October 24th after several months of extensive renovations. The restaurant, which has been closed since July, will began taking reservations Tuesday, September 26th.
The restaurant was first opened by Emeril Lagasse in New Orleans in 1990 and is helmed by Emeril's son, Chef E.J. Lagasse. When it re-opens, Emeril’s will offer two distinct tasting menus, classic and seasonal.
The classics menu will feature Chef Emeril’s signature dishes throughout the years, reimagined by Chef E.J. and his culinary team. The seasonal menu will encapsulate the seasons in Louisiana while paying homage to the restaurant’s rich culinary history. The inspiration is drawn from the area’s most dedicated farmers, fisherman, and purveyors to craft an evolved menu that tells a story through food and nature.
Also re-opening is The Wine Bar at Emeril’s which embodies the Lagasse’s love of food, wine, music, and art. Guests will be able to enjoy selections from the wine cellar at Emeril’ and a menu of small plates in a relaxed atmosphere.
